What to do while waiting...

Everyone always says WRITE ANOTHER BOOK while you're waiting for your agent's reactions to revisions, a potential agent's response to a full, for an editor to pick up your manuscript, etc.

I will write another book (I'm brainstorming ideas with my multiple personalities constantly), but first: I need to clean my house, volunteer at school, get my kids' haircuts, etc., etc., etc. My list is long and I'm a gettin to it in a hurry.

I hope if you're not writing, you have something fun keeping you busy!

that sounds like an important list...first things first I always say.

Little boy and I were at the football stadium tonight to watch our team playing in the European League. Good match, but unfortunately we lost. That's life; you win some and you loose some >:)

You've been concentrating on your book so hard that you should take a break and catch up on other things! Or just sit, relax, and read another book.

Raking leaves is on MY agenda this weekend! (Maybe...)

Good for you for knowing your priorities! :) Besides, it's hard to write when you're waiting on something. Much easier said than done.

I've never been in the position of filling the time between the time re: agents and editors, but I think taking a break from authoring and living life is very important. Sounds like you have some good ideas up there, but don't forget to do things for yourself too.

DARBY: Leaves...I should probably do that.

JENNIFER: I have felt like I've been neglecting some things...ready to get some house cleaning (literally and figuratively) done.

JONATHON: Yes! I just spent a couple days chillin with Husband. Very nice.
