The business of writing: Part II
I've read a lot of queries. Many times, people try to be clever in their intro paragraph. Don't do it. After about two million queries, agents have heard all the clever lines. If you don't have a real connection with the agent (Hey! We were both born in the Amazon!), then just hit the query running...give that awesome description of your novel and go.

Authenticity. There's nothing greater.
KELLY: Thank you!
ROBERT: Plus, it's an obvious thing.
Makes sense :)
Thanks for the tip.
ANITA: My pleasure!
